Back2U Terms & Conditions for Practitioners

1. Acceptance of Terms

By registering and using the Back2U platform as a practitioner, you agree to comply with these Terms & Conditions, which govern your access to and use of the platform.

2. Eligibility

You must be:

Registered with AHPRA as a chiropractor, physiotherapist, or osteopath
Fully insured with current professional indemnity and public liability cover
Eligible to practice within Australia

3. Platform Use

You may accept appointments at your discretion.
You are responsible for providing treatment in a professional and ethical manner, in accordance with relevant regulations and industry standards.
You agree not to solicit patients outside of the platform.

4. Fees & Payments

Back2U takes a service fee from each confirmed booking (detailed in your onboarding pack).
Payments are processed at the completion of each appointment via PAYMENT PROVIDER.
You are responsible for your own tax, superannuation, and business obligations.

5. Cancellation & No-Shows

You must provide a minimum 12 hours notice for cancellations.
Repeated cancellations or no-shows may result in account suspension.

6. Code of Conduct

Maintain respectful, safe, and inclusive interactions with all users.
Do not provide services beyond your registered scope of practice.

7. Confidentiality & Privacy

You agree to maintain patient confidentiality and comply with the Privacy Act 1988.
Personal information obtained through the platform may only be used to deliver agreed care.

8. Liability

Back2U is not liable for outcomes of clinical treatment.
You agree to indemnify Back2U from any claims arising from your services.

9. Account Termination

Back2U may suspend or terminate your account for breaches of these terms or professional misconduct. Back2U will notify AHPRA of any misconduct.

Back2U Terms & Conditions for Patients (App Users)

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using the Back2U app, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.

2. About the Service

Back2U connects users with qualified chiropractors, physiotherapists, and osteopaths for in-person, mobile care delivered to your chosen location.

3. Eligibility

You must be 18+ to make a booking or have a parent/guardian do so on your behalf.

4. Booking & Payment

All bookings are made via the app and require upfront payment.
Cancellations must be made 12 hours in advance to avoid a cancellation fee: 50% of the booking cost.
Pricing is transparent and includes the practitioner's fee plus a service charge.

5. Health & Safety

You must provide a safe, private, and clean environment for the appointment.
Practitioners may refuse treatment if they believe the environment is unsafe or unsuitable.
All treatments are to be with only the patient present unless under 18, in which case a guardian/parent must be present.
No pets allowed unless approved by the Practitioner in advance, as this can affect the Practitioner’s concentration.

6. Medical Advice Disclaimer

Back2U does not provide medical advice or guarantee outcomes.
Practitioners are independent and solely responsible for your treatment.

7. Privacy

Your personal and health information is collected in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988.
Data is securely stored and only shared with your selected practitioner as needed.

8. Conduct

You agree to treat all practitioners with respect and courtesy.
Abusive, threatening, or inappropriate behaviour will result in immediate account suspension.
Frequent poor ratings from practitioners may result in investigation and account suspension.

9. Liability

Back2U is a facilitator and not liable for the conduct, treatment, or outcomes provided by practitioners.

10. Changes to Terms

Back2U may update these terms at any time. You will be notified of material changes via the app or email.
